Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college program.

Responsibilities

• Performs prevention, recognition, assessment, physical evaluation, management, treatment, disposition, and physical reconditioning of athletic injuries.
• Develops action plans from testing data.
• Leads exercise and fitness programs.
• Assists with return-to-competition decisions.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation.
• Available for teams served and required athletic events.
• May participate in marketing and outside community fitness programs.
• Maintains medical supply budget with Dordt University administration.
• Oversees Dordt University athletic training work-study students/program.
• Coordinates with Dordt University Excess Insurance Company on student-athlete claims.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
