Job summary

You will assess injuries, manage emergencies, design rehabilitation and conditioning programs, and collaborate with sports medicine staff to optimize performance. The Early Career AT Immersion Program provides hands-on learning and professional growth through rotations, case studies, and guest lectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• ATC certification is required or preferred as listed in qualifications.
• State licensure as Athletic Trainer may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Recognize, manage and rehabilitate injuries to professional, amateur and recreational athletes.
• Provide techniques for preventing injuries.
• Prepare athletes for practice or competition.
• Evaluate and manage injuries and determine whether referral is necessary.
• Maintain a medical file on each athlete and liaise between physician and athlete.
• Implement treatment and rehabilitation programs under physician supervision.
• Develop conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes.
• Perform clinical tasks in ambulatory settings including health maintenance reviews and documentation with the physician.
