Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • NATABOC certification required upon hire.
  • New York State licensure required upon hire.
  • CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Athletic Training Outreach Services in the High School or Organization Setting: care of injuries, prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-participation planning.
  • Educates coaches, parents, and student trainers on injury prevention and care.
  • Maintains documentation and medical records for each patient.
  • Supports department operations and program coordination across sites.
  • Assists in supervision and training of junior athletic trainers and staff.
  • Performs duties to support orthopaedic sports physicians in clinic and ASC settings.
