  • Strong manual dexterity and upper-extremity strength.

Responsibilities
  • Prevent, assess, and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries.
  • Recondition athletes and active individuals after injury to reduce injury recurrence and improve functional performance.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment, progress, and outcomes.
  • Educate students, staff, and families about injury prevention and health promotion.
  • Manage inventory of treatment supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited athletic training program.
  • Current or temporary Indiana license (license must be obtained within 45 days of start date if pending).
  • Current Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Training.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, current treatment techniques, functional progression, and emerging trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with athletes, patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.

  • Strong manual dexterity and upper‑extremity strength for treatment modalities and equipment operation.
  • Capability to lift and transfer patients or supplies safely without restriction.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Independent judgment, sound decision‑making, and adaptability to changing work conditions.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
