Responsibilities

Provide athletic training/sports medicine services to NCAA student‑athletes, including injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion, examination, assessment, diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, therapeutic intervention, healthcare administration and professional responsibility. Provide services for practices and competitions, travel with sport teams and document services. Work directly with football and baseball teams.

Rank & Salary

Salary Range: $40,500 - $45,000 per year

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified (BOC) Athletic Trainer
• Eligible for State of Illinois athletic training licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training
• BLS CPR/AED Certification or eligible to obtain
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training
• Previous experience working with baseball or upper extremity sports
• Degree conferred from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent (must be conferred at the time of appointment)
