GeekSI is looking for a dedicated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join the U.S. Army’s rapidly expanding Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at Ft. Lee, VA (25 miles south of Richmond, VA).
This is more than an athletic training role. It’s a chance to join the Army’s largest human performance initiative — Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) — as part of an embedded, interdisciplinary team devoted to keeping Soldiers healthy, resilient, and ready.
Since its 2018 pilot, H2F has become one of the Army’s defining readiness efforts — now fielded across roughly 50 active‑duty brigades and expanding toward 111 brigades by fiscal year 2027, with the goal of reaching every Soldier across the force.
We are hiring many Athletic Trainers across the country and are open to relocation assistance; however this specific posting is on‑site at Ft. Lee.
We are currently NOT offering Sponsorship. No H‑1B, O‑1, E‑3, EAD, TN or any related sponsorships.
The role is dynamic and on‑site, requiring adaptability in a fast‑paced and multifaceted environment. Duties and priorities may shift throughout the workday, and interaction with soldiers during training or recovery is hands‑on and proactive. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and spend time on feet, in the elements, while carrying supplies.
