Job summary

Brevard Public Schools seeks an Athletic Trainer to support Rockledge High School’s athletic programs by preventing, examining, diagnosing, and treating injuries. This 10-month instructional role requires a dedicated professional to deliver comprehensive athletic training services for student athletes.

The candidate must hold NATA and BOC certifications, possess a Florida athletic trainer license or eligibility, and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certification, with a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field is required.
• Valid Florida Educators’ Professional, Temporary or Career & Technical Education Certification is required.
• Current certification through NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) and BOC (Board of Certification) is required.
• Hold or be eligible for a valid Athletic Trainer license issued by the Florida Board of Athletic Training.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s license is required.
