Job description

Provide comprehensive athletic training services to University of New Hampshire NCAA Division I student-athletes. Deliver injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency medical care while collaborating with physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to support the health, safety, and performance of intercollegiate athletic teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, modalities, and exercise programs.
  • Implement injury prevention strategies, including taping, bracing, bandaging, and other protective measures.
  • Assess athletic injuries, develop treatment plans, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to determine return-to-play readiness.
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care during practices, competitions, and other athletic activities.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical instruction to athletic training students.
  • Provide athletic training coverage for assigned NCAA Division I varsity team practices, competitions, and related activities.
  • Travel with assigned varsity teams to provide medical coverage during away competitions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with applicable NCAA, institutional, and professional standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in athletic training and a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a certified athletic trainer in a collegiate athletics setting.
  • Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
  • Eligible for or currently licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the State of New Hampshire.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.

Compensation Pay Range

$40,020.00 - $71,130.00

The pay range for this position is listed above. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
