Job summary

Capstone Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide medical coverage for our partner high school athletic programs. You will be the primary on-site healthcare provider for student-athletes, collaborating with Capstone PT clinicians and school staff.

Responsibilities include evaluating injuries, delivering emergency care, guiding treatment and rehabilitation, and coordinating return-to-play clearances.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required.
• Washington state Athletic Trainer license or eligible.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Strong communication and mentoring adolescent athletes.

• Perform evaluations, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries.
• Provide reliable on-site coverage for athletic events/games.
• Work closely with Capstone PT athletic therapists, team physicians, athletic directors and coaches to manage injury care and return-to-play.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of injuries, treatments, and return-to-play clearances.

Job Description

In this role, you will be the primary healthcare provider on-site, serving between Capstone Physical Therapy and the local student-athlete community.

• Perform evaluations, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries.
• Provide reliable on-site coverage for athletic events/games.
• Work closely with Capstone PT physical therapists, team physicians, athletic directors, and coaches to manage seamless injury care and transition athletes back to play.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of injuries, treatments, and return-to-play clearances.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
• Current Washington state Athletic Training license (or eligible to obtain).
• CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring adolescent athletes.
