Job summary

UCSB Athletics seeks a supervisor to oversee maintenance and operations of natural grass fields, synthetic surfaces, and facilities at Harder Stadium, Clemmenson Field, Caesar Uyesaka Stadium, Campus Diamond, Arnhold Tennis Center and other spaces.

You will work daily with coaches and grounds crew to support intercollegiate teams, supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, and manage resources. Experience in sports turf maintenance and event prep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises unit staff and ensures compliance with department policies and internal controls.
• Oversees maintenance of natural grass fields, synthetic surfaces, and related facilities.
• Collaborates with coaches and grounds crew to support intercollegiate teams and events.
• Plans, coordinates, and performs activities supporting facilities, including landscaping and exterior maintenance.
