Job summary

Montgomery Parks is seeking a skilled Parks/Facilities Maintenance Leader-CDL to manage athletic fields and park facilities at the Meadowbrook Maintenance Facility in Chevy Chase, MD. The role requires CDL readiness within 12 months and strong leadership to ensure safe, game-ready field conditions.

You will oversee turf care, equipment operation, and daily work planning while coordinating with the Southern Parks Division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in ground, golf course, building or park maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field maintenance to ensure safe, game-ready conditions.
• Oversee setup, turf care, and field improvements.
• Manage staffing, schedules, and daily work assignments.
• Track work orders and field activities in EAM/operational systems.
• Train staff and maintain required certifications.
