Job summary

Washington County Schools (TN) is seeking a Grounds Worker to maintain athletic fields and surrounding landscapes, performing semiskilled, physically demanding tasks under supervision. A high school diploma and a valid Tennessee driver's license are required, with experience in general manual work preferred.

Responsibilities include operating light equipment and contributing to campus grounds maintenance across athletic fields, plant beds, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in performing general manual work; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license issued by the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic fields and landscaped areas.
• Operate light automotive and mechanical equipment for a major portion of the workday.
• Perform tasks under close supervision with potential progression to more responsible duties.
