Job summary

Kamehameha Schools is seeking a full-time Athletic Utility Worker to support daily operations of our athletic facilities and programs. This hands-on role helps ensure student-athlete success by keeping uniforms, gear and locker rooms organized and ready for use.

You will work with coaches and athletic staff to prepare equipment, manage inventory and maintain a safe, clean environment for practices and events, with required evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 6 months of related work experience.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience with laundry cleaning and stain removal techniques.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and work with coaches and staff.

Responsibilities

• Receives, verifies and processes new uniform inventory.
• Keeps accurate records on uniform sizing and locker information.
• Supervises locker room use and enforces rules for safety and security.
• Cleans, folds, sorts and prepares uniform sets, towels and related items (~1500 pieces daily).
• Set up/breakdown fields, facilities and equipment under supervision.
• Open/secure areas for classes, practices and events as needed.
• Distribute equipment requests and manage storage items.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working order; assist with inventory at season start/end.
