Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Skill in organizing resources, setting priorities, and tracking deliverables with project management tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to interact with media and diverse communities.
• Ability to coordinate meetings and special events.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and rapid-response social media content.
• Knowledge of athletic sports, facilities, and equipment; play-by-play broadcasting ability preferred.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate coverage of CCC athletic teams and promotions.
• Write and distribute press releases; build relationships with media.
• Prepare athletics content: stats, press kits, and media materials.
• Maintain the CCC athletic website with calendars, galleries, and game data.
• Travel with teams for game-day operations and provide information to media.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
