Job summary

The University of Mississippi is seeking a Grounds Maintenance - Athletics staff member to prepare athletic fields for practice or competition on campus. The role involves maintaining fields, mowing, spraying, fertilizing, and related tasks to ensure fields are ready for events.

You will prepare fields for practice sessions, games, and other athletic events; line off, rake, drag, and clean as required, while keeping the grounds neat and clean, and tending to dugouts as needed.

• Checks to ensure a neat and clean appearance of athletic grounds.
• Cleans dugouts as necessary.
• Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
