Job summary

D1 Training is seeking a certified Personal Training Specialist to develop athletes of all ages and abilities. You will assess needs, create individualized programs, deliver coaching, and use performance data to demonstrate progress.

Responsibilities include designing plans, leading sessions, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring safe, engaging coaching and ongoing advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current certification from NASM/ACE/ACSM/NSCA/ISSA or equivalent.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Experience training athletes across ages, sports, and skill levels.
• Strong understanding of exercise programming, biomechanics, and injury prevention.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and communicate performance data.
• Strong leadership, motivation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design individualized training plans based on age, sport, and goals.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group training sessions for diverse athletes.
• Assess strength, speed, agility, mobility, endurance, and sport-specific performance.
• Establish benchmarks and use data to monitor progress and adjust programs.
• Keep accurate records of assessments, attendance, training loads, and goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in exercise science

CSCS or youth fitness specialization
