Job summary

The IRONMAN Group in Tampa, FL is seeking an Athlete Services Coordinator to support athlete experiences, registrations, communications, and post-race operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, handle check-in, shipping, and warehousing, and travel to events as needed to ensure exceptional athlete experiences.

A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred, with strong communication, organization, and teamwork essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or vocational qualification preferred in administration, business, sports management, endurance sports, or event management.
  • Internship or relevant experience in sports events, event operations, or customer service preferred.
  • Experience in sports or customer service projects is valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Set up registrations across platforms (Njuko/TicketSocket) and coordinate with Operations, Marketing and Partnerships.
  • Respond to athlete inquiries via email/phone and support communications/mailings.
  • Assist with website/social media updates and content alignment with PR/Marketing.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event procedures, including warehousing, packet stuffing, check-in and race-day duties.
  • Support shipping of registration materials and post-race items; resolve shipping issues and provide on-site support.
