Job summary

WVU Health System in Martinsburg, WV seeks an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Physician to join our multidisciplinary orthopedic team. The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg and contribute to advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive care for athletes.

Requirements include MD/DO, fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine, board certification/eligibility, WV licensure; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; experience with athletic populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic sports medicine fellowship.
• Board-certified or eligible in orthopedic surgery.
• Active or eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in West Virginia.
• Demonstrated surgical expertise in arthroscopic and reconstructive sports medicine.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent sports-related injuries.
• Perform minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures and complex reconstructions.
• Provide comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals of all ages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary orthopedic team to optimize outcomes.
