Job summary

Garden Spot Village is seeking an At Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized support in clients’ homes in New Holland, PA. This full-time role involves assisting with daily activities, personal care, and household tasks while following a defined care plan and maintaining safety and dignity for each client.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
• Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and uphold standards of good caregiving practice.
• Assist clients in a manner conducive to their safety, comfort, and independence.
• Report any unusual observations or conditions to the Coordinator of GSV At Home or Assistant Coordinator/Scheduler.
• Practice safety for self and clients and report any unsafe conditions.
• Follow the established care plan for each assigned client.
• Assist with personal possessions, home environment, meal preparation, and reminders as listed in the care plan.
• Provide personal care as contracted, including bathing, continence care, oral hygiene, hair grooming, dressing, shaving, and nail care.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality by coming to work as scheduled.
• Attend all in-services and training sessions relevant to the position.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Answer the telephone and assist clients with calls.

At Garden Spot Village, our At Home Caregivers bring compassionate, personalized support right to each client’s home! From personal care and daily activities to agreed-upon household tasks, you’ll help individuals live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible; all while building meaningful relationships and making a difference each day.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)

• Ability to understand and identify with the Mission Statement and philosophy of Garden Spot Village At Home
• Treat clients, family members, and peers with dignity and respect
• Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude
• May include weekends, evenings, and holidays

Additional Information

This position is full-time day shift with rotating weekend schedule.
