Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care.
• Feel confident in your physical endurance for activities like carrying groceries and assisting a client.
• Be willing to perform housekeeping and cooking duties per dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state/office health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Assist with mobility at home and during appointments.
