Job summary

Visiting Angels Carmel is hiring At Home Caregivers to support clients across Hamilton County, including Avon, Carmel and Noblesville. You will provide compassionate in-home care aligned with each client’s plan to enhance wellness and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, and friendly companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking per dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion and a desire to brighten clients' days.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and supportive interaction.
• Respond promptly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients on shopping trips.
• Remind about medications and assist with mobility.
