Job summary

Visiting Angels of Lufkin is hiring At Home Caregivers to support clients across Deep East Texas, including Lufkin, Huntington, Diboll and surrounding towns. You will deliver compassionate in-home care under customized plans with flexible schedules and competitive wages.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, transportation, and companionship, with opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer's care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid training and emergency response (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking while following dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
