Visiting Angels of Bryan is hiring compassionate At Home Caregivers to support clients throughout Central Texas. You will assist with daily living, meals, mobility, errands, and companionship, while following individualized care plans and safety standards.

The role offers flexible schedules, full- and part-time hours, and opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. A valid license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Ability to manage multiple duties with good time management.
• Reliable transportation to reach client homes as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light physical activity or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond promptly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping.
• Assist with medications reminders and mobility as needed.

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
