Visiting Angels of Boerne is hiring At Home Caregivers to serve clients across the Hill Country. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care in clients' homes, following custom care plans and ensuring their safety.

As an At Home Caregiver, you will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility, and companionship, while reporting health changes as needed. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, trainings, and growth opportunities.

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
