Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. This remote contract role pays $70–$90/hour and requires delivering 4–6 tasks per week.

We seek a PhD in Physics (General Relativity, Astrophysics or Cosmology) with excellent English, meticulous writing, and strong communication to collaborate with AI researchers.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, starting in February. Ideal candidates are based in the US, UK, Canada or Western Europe.

Compensation: $70–$90/hour
