Qualifications

- Interdisciplinary Master's in Planetary Science or Astrobiology or equivalent acceptable as alternative.
- Earth/Space science credentials and teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach a mix of astronomy courses.
- Teach day, evening, and/or Saturday classes as required.
- Hold office hours and advise students.
- Mentor students and engage in service-learning activities.
- Participate in department outreach activities.
- Revise and update astronomy curriculum.
- Develop new astronomy courses.
- Promote inclusive, anti-racist teaching practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
