Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our nonprofit practice in an in-office role. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, work with nonprofit clients, and contribute to internal controls assessment and report preparation.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 2 years of audit experience; nonprofit and Single Audit experience are strongly preferred; CPA exam eligibility is a plus; travel may be required occasionally.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
• Single Audit experience is a plus.
• The ability to travel to client sites may also require infrequent overnight travel.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our Nonprofit practice. CLA consisting of over 850 professionals serving over 12,000 nonprofits. This is an in-office position.

How you'll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters
• Assessing the design and implementation of internal controls
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

The compensation range for this position in Maryland is $83,000.00 - $141,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Virginia is $87,000.00 - $141,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is $96,000.00 - $146,000.00
