Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our Nonprofit practice in an in-office role. You will plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements and work closely with clients and decision makers to ensure high-quality service and reporting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, are CPA exam eligible, and hold at least 2 years of audit experience, preferably in nonprofit environments, with some travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • CPA exam eligibility is preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant audit experience is required.
  • Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
  • Single Audit experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to client sites may be required (overnight travel).

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our Nonprofit practice. CLA consisting of over 850 professionals serving over 12,000 nonprofits. This is an in-office position.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:
  • Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
  • Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
  • Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters
  • Assessing the design and implementation of internal controls
  • Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
  • Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
  • Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
  • Single Audit experience is a plus.
  • The ability to travel to client sites may also require infrequent overnight travel.

The compensation range for this position in Maryland is $83,000.00 - $141,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Virginia is $87,000.00 - $141,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is $96,000.00 - $146,000.00
