Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA exam eligibility preferred.
• 2 years of audit experience required.
• Logistics experience strongly preferred.
• Travel to client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work with clients and decision makers on a range of assurance procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and reportable correspondence.
• Assess internal control design and implementation.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure communication and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our Logistics team! How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters
• Assessing the design and implementation of internal controls
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients. Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• Logistics experience is strongly preferred.
• The ability to travel to client sites may also require infrequent overnight travel.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Maryland is $83,000.00 - $141,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Virginia is $87,000.00 - $141,000.00
