Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in California seeks an Assurance Director/Manager to join our Manufacturing practice. You will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor teams while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a CPA license are required, with at least six years in public accounting and experience overseeing governmental and single audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with clients in the Manufacturing practice.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary funding and achieving audit/financial planning objectives.
• Guide staff development, mentoring, and engagement teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead engagement progress by monitoring budgets and deadlines and communicating findings to engagement principals.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Assurance Director/ Manager role:

• Manage and develop relationships with great clients.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary funding to continue to positively impact their community.
• Assist clients with meeting their audit and financial planning objectives by using a range of tools.
• Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.
• Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time budgets and deadlines for adherence. Communicate important development to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations.

What You Will Need

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred
• CPA license certification is required.

The compensation range for this position in CA is: $102,000.00 - $194,000.00
