Job summary

CohnReznick, a leading national professional services firm, seeks an Assurance Manager to join our Tysons team. This hybrid role supports our Technology Practice, delivering audit, advisory and tax services to technology clients and other industries.

You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and drive high-quality deliverables for clients while collaborating across the firm. The ideal candidate has CPA, 5+ years in public accounting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required.
• CPA designation required.
• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required.
• Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• In managing a team of associates and senior associates, you will provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
• Effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
• Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid, which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM

This position will support our Technology Practice. CohnReznick's Technology Practice assists public, private, and investor-backed companies at each stage of their life cycle. This experience allows us to function as key business advisors to our technology clients. You will work on a team with Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. YOUR ROLE

YOUR EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
• CPA designation is required
• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Commercial services and/or Technology industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus
• Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
