Job summary

CohnReznick in Tysons, VA is seeking an Assurance Manager to lead client engagements in our Technology Practice. Hybrid work with in‑person collaboration about 3 days a week, per team guidance.

Assurance Manager

Join the team in our Tysons office. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

This position will support our Technology Practice. CohnReznick’s Technology Practice assists public, private, and investor-backed companies at each stage of their life cycle. This experience allows us to function as key business advisors to our technology clients. Your Role.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Serving as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• In managing a team of associates and senior associates, you will provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
• Effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
• Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
• CPA designation is required
• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Commercial services and/or Technology industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus
• Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
