Job summary

YHB is seeking proactive and detail-oriented interns to join our Audit Team for an 8-week summer program. You will perform audit testing on financial statement accounts on-site, with mentorship and exposure to real client audits.

During the internship, you will shadow professionals, work on a group project, and participate in client meetings alongside YHB managers to expand your auditing knowledge and professional network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with accounting professionals to build connections in the field.
• Work collaboratively with other interns on a group project presented at internship end.
• Shadow Audit & Assurance professionals at various levels.
• Participate in client meetings alongside YHB managers.
• Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel.
• Draft management letter comments and the audit report.

Job description

YHB is looking for proactive and detail-oriented Interns to join our Audit Team, while offering the opportunity for individual and professional development. For the duration of our 8-week summer internship program, you'll be able to complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets. During your on-site experience in one of our many office locations, you will be executing tasks geared towards expanding your audit knowledge.
