Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate to join our NY Metro offices in a hybrid role. You will lead engagements within the Commercial Services Industry Group, managing planning, execution and deliverables with a focus on risk, controls and client value.

The role requires 2+ years in public accounting, industry experience, CHAMP SEC & PCAOB familiarity, and a CPA licensure path or eligibility. Strong MS Office and audit software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Industry experience required.
• CHAMP SEC & PCAOB experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans.
• Illustrate budgets and schedules.
• Actively participate in proposals.
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
