Job summary

MMB+CO in the United States (New York area) is seeking an associate in the assurance department. You will learn and grow by reviewing fieldwork and engaging directly with clients, developing organizational skills and professional judgment.

The role emphasizes GAAP and GAAS application, orderly workpapers, and using the firm’s technology (MS Office and related tools). A CPA path and ongoing professional development are supported by the firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting and/or finance.
  • 1 year of professional audit experience preferred.
  • Active pursuit of CPA certification supported.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing fieldwork and developing client relationships.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain neat, complete workpapers using firm technology.
  • Keep up-to-date with current accounting standards.
