Chemours is seeking an Assurance Analyst to join the CAS Internal Audit team at our Wilmington, Delaware headquarters. You will execute audits, test controls, and collaborate with COE/c outsourced members to strengthen Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and overall governance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 2 years of audit experience, and professional certifications (CPA/CIA preferred). Travel 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required.
• CPA, CIA or other certification in progress or obtained.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Internal Audit or External Audit.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial, compliance, and operational audits with CAS team.
• Assist planning, scoping, interviews, testing, and report drafting.
• Test internal controls over financial reporting for SOX compliance.
• Communicate observations and findings to audit clients and management.
• Support external auditors and coordination of documentation and activities.
• Participate in special projects (pre-implementation readiness, due diligence).
