Job summary

State of Georgia, East Central Regional Hospital, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Assistant Director to supervise, coordinate, and inspect facilities maintenance, renovation, and construction projects. The role leads a team to ensure work adheres to established guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job-related experience in engineering, maintenance, renovation, and construction of facilities, including two (2) years as a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Fac Maintenance Engineer 3 (FEP042) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
• Coordinates the engineering, maintenance, renovation, and construction of facilities.
• Reviews plans and conducts on-site inspections to ensure work is performed according to established guidelines.
