Job summary

Acuity Fund Solutions is seeking an Associate Fund Accountant in Scottsdale, AZ to join the Fund Accounting team. You will work hands-on with real client portfolios from day one and follow a clearly defined path to increasing responsibilities.

You will process daily activity, perform reconciliations, assist in investor statements, and support client reporting with a disciplined, checklist-driven approach. The hybrid role offers growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and comfort working within structured checklists and controls.
• Clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily transaction activity — trades, cash movements, corporate actions — into the fund accounting system on each client's schedule
• Perform cash reconciliations between the accounting system and external account records
• Perform position and price reconciliations, flagging variances for senior review rather than resolving them independently
• Assist in preparing investor statements, fund-level financial statements, and supporting schedules for client reporting packages
• Support processing of investor capital activity — contributions, withdrawals, capital calls, distributions, and transfers — through document review, data entry, and checklist completion
• Maintain organized, audit-ready workpapers for all assigned tasks
• Follow established checklists and procedures precisely, flagging process gaps rather than working around them

The Associate Fund Accountant is the entry point into Acuity's Fund Accounting team — hands‑on work with real client portfolios from day one, with a clearly defined path to growing responsibility as skills develop.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process and record daily transaction activity — trades, cash movements, corporate actions — into the fund accounting system on each client's schedule

WHAT YOU BRING

NICE TO HAVE

• Prior internship or professional experience in fund accounting or fund administration
• Exposure to a fund accounting platform (Allvue, Investran, Advent Geneva)
• Progress toward CPA licensure
