Job summary

Cornerstone Alliance Church in rural Iowa is seeking an Associate Pastor of Worship to lead the church into God's presence through worship, with pastoral duties such as outreach, shepherding, counseling, teaching, and leadership development.

The role is full-time and salary is commensurate with experience. Licensing with The Christian and Missionary Alliance is required or pursued, and the candidate should align with CMA doctrine and mission.

Qualifications

• Must model elder qualifications and mature character.
• Ability to recruit and lead volunteer staff.
• Clear communication of God's Word to diverse audiences.
• Licensed or willing to be licensed by CMA.
• Agreement with CMA doctrine and mission.
• Prior ministry experience and education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead adult worship teams for Sunday services.
• Develop, support, and encourage worship team volunteers through training and Bible study.
• Be willing to be trained to perform weddings and funerals for congregants.
• Collaborate and serve with all ministry staff.
• Coordinate with the Lead Pastor and Elder board in developing discipleship in the assigned area.
