About the role:
The Warehouse Associate will handle shipping and receiving duties, be responsible for material handling, and product staging. Shelve and organize inventory and keep the warehouse clean and orderly. Inventory checks and inventory reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe operation of the forklift vehicle, including performance of a daily pre‑operational and operational safety checklist.
- Material handling as required throughout the production and warehouse areas.
- Picking and preparing product (raw material, finished goods).
- Unloading incoming and loading outgoing shipments.
- Checking weights of incoming raw materials.
- Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.
- Repair damaged cartons and bags.
- Utility functions as required.
- Comply with all OSHA standards, particularly those that relate to forklift operation.
- Promote a safe working environment and good GMPs.
- Committed to providing a safe food product.
- Work within all regulatory requirements.
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified forklift operator.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Work independently with little or no supervision.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Apply the supervisor’s directions.
- Results‑oriented, thrives on pressure situations.
