A privately owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and supportive team. The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care to dogs and cats while working as part of a collaborative, highly skilled team. The hospital is one of nine privately owned, state-of-the-art AAHA-accredited hospitals in the Tampa area and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
The team includes six DVMs, credentialed veterinary technicians and a supportive hospital staff. Veterinary expertise within the wider team includes American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) Diplomates in Canine and Feline Practice, a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist, a board-certified surgeon and a board-certified internist.
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including digital radiology reviewed by a board-certified radiologist, digital dental radiology, high-speed dental equipment, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound and cold laser therapy.
The practice believes that veterinarians perform at their best when they have a healthy balance between work and life. Associates typically work 3-4 days per week, with weekends on a rotating basis and no emergency or on-call duties after hours.
Lunch breaks and administrative time are built into the schedule, helping associates stay on track and, in most cases, leave work on time.
