We are looking for a compassionate veterinarian with the desire to provide high quality, affordable care for public, rescue and shelter pets. Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform pre-surgical examinations.
• Safely and efficiently perform spay/neuter procedures.
• Perform additional surgical procedures such as hernia repair, enucleation, amputation, dew claw removal.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Full time position available only.
• Assist in overseeing dental procedures.

Experience/ Qualification/Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine-DVM
• 2 years of experience in small animal practice recommended but not required. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Extensive mentorship will be provided and continually available.
• Ability to safely and efficiently perform spay and neuter procedures.
• Preference will be given to individuals with previous HQHVSN experience.

Tracy is a rapidly growing city in the central valley of California. We are located 1 hour from the beach, 2 hours from Yosemite, 3 hours from world class ski resorts in Lake Tahoe. Outdoor recreation including hiking, boating, swimming and fishing are just 10 minutes away in the California delta region. Within 30 minutes drive there is a great variety of shopping and fine dining available.

Salary

$160,000-$200,000 annual salary depending on experience.
