Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited program.
• Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
• Ability to perform general surgery and dentistry or willingness to develop with mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive care, wellness exams, and client education.
• Diagnose and treat cases using on-site radiography and lab resources.
• Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, including routine spay-neuter.
• Provide anesthesia, pain management, and dental care.
• Collaborate with a support team to optimize workflow and outcomes.
• Support curbside and drop-off appointment models.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best-practice standards.
• Participate in a fair, predictable schedule with weekend coverage.
