Los Lunas Animal Clinic in New Mexico seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join our established practice. You will enjoy a well-rounded role in small animal medicine, wellness, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care, with opportunities to expand into equine and livestock services as desired.

You'll collaborate with a supportive team, build strong client relationships, and develop your professional interests while practicing compassionate, evidence-based medicine.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree required.
• Active NM veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• Successful completion of the NAVLE.
• Ability to independently manage a general practice caseload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care while developing your areas of interest.
• Manage a general practice caseload, including wellness and preventive care.
• Perform dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery as needed.
• Spay and neuter procedures.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff on cases.
• Educate clients and plan preventive health strategies.
