Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or equivalent.
• Active Washington State veterinary license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based veterinary medicine.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in developing lasting client relationships.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care for dogs and cats, including wellness exams, preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment of illness and injury.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based medicine.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in collaboration with colleagues.
• Perform surgical and dental procedures consistent with experience and interests.
• Utilize diagnostic tools including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab testing.
• Educate pet owners on preventive health, treatment options, nutrition, and long-term wellness.
• Partner with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide efficient, compassionate care and a positive client experience.
• Contribute to a collaborative hospital culture built on mutual respect and open communication.
