Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• License to practice in North Carolina and DEA registration.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience in small-animal general practice and routine soft-tissue surgery.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive care and general medicine for small animals.
• Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries; manage anesthesia and analgesia with an experienced support team.
• Utilize in-house radiography and clinical lab testing for timely diagnostics.
• Communicate clearly with clients, provide education, and build lasting relationships.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold AAHA-aligned standards and protocols.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Typical clinical rhythm includes a balanced mix of wellness, sick visits, and surgery within a four-day week.
