Strasburg Veterinary Clinic, a privately owned mixed animal practice just east of Denver, seeks a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The role offers a 3-day work week, with 70% small animal and 30% livestock care, plus a wide range of diagnostic and surgical services.

You will join a 6-doctor team with a strong support staff, access to in-house IDEXX labs, ultrasound and radiology, and opportunities to collaborate with a board-certified surgeon.

Qualifications

• DVM licensed in the State of Colorado.
• USDA Veterinary Accreditation Level II.
• Three-day work week contracted at 168 days per year.
• Limited on-call rotation of five associates until 10 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary medical care for mixed animal patients (70% small animal, 30% large animal/livestock).
• Perform surgery, dental procedures, urgent care and emergency services.
• Collaborate with a board-certified surgeon for advanced cases.
• Practice in-house and ambulatory medicine with diagnostics and treatments.

PRIVATE MIXED ANIMAL PRACTICE

Strasburg Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned, well established mixed animal veterinary practice looking for a new Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are searching for a full time veterinarian ready for the variety a mixed practice offers. We are a 6-doctor practice located just east of the Denver area on I-70 that has been serving the community for 79 years. We have an experienced staff of licensed veterinary technicians and an incredible 4-1 support staff to doctor ratio daily! As a mixed animal practice, we see 70% small animal and 30% large animal and livestock. We are a full service practice that provides complete veterinary care including: surgical, dental, urgent care, and emergency services to in house and ambulatory patients. In addition, we partner with a board certified surgeon to provide additional services to our patients.

We have several National Parks and Monuments, State Parks, the Royal Gorge and numerous fourteeners.
