Job summary

Plum Creek Regional Animal Medical Center in Crete, Illinois seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join our three-doctor small-animal practice. We provide wellness and preventive care, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, therapeutics, diagnostics, radiology, ultrasonography, and boarding, with an Express Clinic sharing clients across locations.

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.
• Active Veterinary State License.
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care for small animals including wellness and preventive medicine.
• Perform routine and specialized surgeries as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and maintain records.

Our veterinarians provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness and preventive medicine, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, therapeutic laser therapy, acupuncture, in-house diagnostics, digital full-body and dental radiology, ultrasonography, and medical and vacation boarding. Salary Range can vary from $100,000 to $140,000. Determining factor is solely based off experience, qualifications, schedule, compensation structure, and is subjected to change per applicable candidate.
