Job summary

Chattyvets in Inwood, WV is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative five‑doctor team. The role focuses on high‑quality small animal care with wellness, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery in a supportive hospital.

The practice offers a strong support staff, no after-hours, flexible full-time or part-time options, and growth opportunities with on-site boarding and advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• DVM / VMD (or equivalent) and eligible to work in the US.
• NAVLE certification required or equivalent per state rules.
• ECFVG or PAVE if graduated from a non-AVMA accredited program.
• DEA, State, and USDA licences (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills and client service focus.

Responsibilities

• Wellness and preventative medicine for small animals.
• Medical consultations and diagnostics.
• Soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
• Senior wellness and management of complex medical cases.
• Caseload of 20–25 appointments per day; 20‑ and 30‑minute appointments.
