Halifax County Veterinary Center in rural Southside Virginia is seeking an associate veterinarian who wants to practice good medicine and grow with experienced mentors. New graduates and seasoned vets are welcome, with a focus on small animal and cattle work.

We offer true work-life balance with no after-hours emergencies, a two-week paid time off, CE allowance, and licensure fees covered. Compensation starts at $100,000 base salary plus production pay.

Job description

Halifax County Veterinary Center is a rural mixed animal practice in Southside Virginia built on long-standing relationships with the families and farmers we serve. We're looking for an associate veterinarian who wants to practice good medicine, grow with experienced mentors, and still have a life outside the clinic.

Our caseload is mainly dogs, cats, and cattle, with some equine and small ruminant work.
